Even though no reception personnel can be found at the Omena hotels, our
guests can still feel much safer than at traditional hotels. Since all
hallways are monitored by surveillance cameras and all doors are equipped
with code locks, it's almost impossible to sneak into an Omena hotel or
room unnoticed. A dozen recording security cameras have, for instance,
been installed at the Omena Hotel in Tampere. In the event of problem
situations, the security company's representatives will arrive within a
few minutes. Our guests can also, if necessary, contact the security
company via the in-room TV system.
To further ensure our guests'
safety, guards are often on duty in the hotel facilities on Friday and
Saturday evenings, when the city centers tend to be full of activities and
people.
In spite of the camera control, we ensure the full privacy
of our customers. The camera recordings are handed over exclusively to the
police authorities - and only in the event of crime investigations.
