The first Omena Hotel started its operations in Tampere in October 2003,
the second in Vaasa in March 2004, and the third hotel in Turku in April
2005. The chain's first unit in Helsinki will open on April 1, 2007.
We
are constantly looking for new sites, and are currently negotiating with
property owners in Helsinki, Espoo, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Joensuu, Tampere,
Moscow and Stockholm.
Our goal is to expand into the 15-20 largest
cities in Finland by 2012. By that time, our hotel chain will comprise
approximately 25 small units. From 2008 onwards, the company will start
its expansion abroad.
